At Laneways Psychology Canberra we're determined to keep session rate below APS National Schedule of Recommended Fees. To do this the cancellation policy is enforced to ensure the cost of missed sessions doesn't impact all clients by being factored into session fees. This also ensures that you make the most of your booked sessions, as well helping to guarantee that at a time where waitlists for mental health support in Canberra are long, every session, every day can be used by someone who needs it.

We understand circumstances sometimes prevent attending sessions, but we hope you'll understand why we've put this policy in place. Ultimately, it keeps fees down for everyone and makes sure we can make the best of sessions. 

Please note: Cancellation fees cannot be charged to insurance companies, or claimed through medicare, thus any cancellation/non-attendance fee is incurred by the individual. 

I authorise Laneways Psychology Canberra to charge the amount listed below to the payment details provided where a non attendance or late cancellation has occurred. 

0-24 Hours notice: Full fee - $280

24-48 Hours notice: 50% of fee - $140
